Predefined order periods - configuration (video)

In the side menu of the admin panel, in the Settings section, new functionality has been made available. That allows you to add predefined order periods with advanced options.

The order periods are displayed for the customer to choose from as a combo box above the calendar for selecting the days of the order in the ordering process. Some of the order parameters that were previously set at the catering company level have been transferred to the order period level. Test orders are now also defined as order periods.

Order periods allow you to define the following parameters:

• The number of days automatically selected in the calendar after selecting the day of the beginning of the order

• Which days of the week are automatically selected

• Is it possible to edit the automatically selected days of the order or not

• What days of the week can the order start from

• The starting date of the order regardless of the cut-off times table

• End date of the order

• The minimum and maximum number of days of the order

• Allowing breaks (free gaps) between the days of the order

• Test orders

• Minimum and maximum number of test order days

Each meal plan can have different order periods available. To assign order periods to a specific meal plan, go to the meal plan variant and add the selected periods on the Order periods tab. You can also set which order period will be selected by default in the calendar.
